No usernames, no passwords. Your identity is an ECC key pair generated locally. The server never sees your private key.
Cryptographic Auth
Login tokens are encrypted with your public key and decrypted client-side. The server authenticates you by cryptographic proof — it knows your key pair, never your name.
AI Research Layer
Anonymised conversation pairs contribute to open AI development. No names, no identifiers, no linkage. Participation is disclosed at identity creation — not buried in terms, not optional later. This is the contract: your conversations help build better AI, and you know it from the start.
How It Works
Three steps to contribute anonymously
Generate your key pair
Your identity is an ECC key pair created entirely in your browser. The private key never leaves your device. The server stores only your public key — it cannot prove who you are.
Connect to a research room
Your session is authenticated by cryptographic proof, not a password. The server knows your key pair — not your name, location, or any real-world identifier. You are a public key.
Your conversations train AI — anonymously
Messages are collected and used to train AI models. Before any public release, all key pair identifiers are stripped. No name, no device, no linkage — just signal. You know this from the first screen, not the fifteenth page of a ToS.

By using Progredeus, you agree that we collect and catalogue all conversations, messages, replies, and media transmitted through the platform. This data is systematically recorded and stored for the purposes of AI research and model development. This is not optional once you use the service — data collection is the core mechanism of the platform.
Your display name and any username you set are removed from all research logs before data is processed or shared. Each identity is replaced with a randomly generated, non-reversible user identifier. No name, username, email address, IP address, or any other personally identifying information is retained alongside your messages in the research dataset.
Pseudonymised conversation data — including messages, replies, and media transmitted through the platform — may be shared with AI research institutions and AI development companies for the purpose of training, evaluating, and improving artificial intelligence models. Data may be disclosed publicly in anonymised form as part of open research datasets.
Progredeus is not a private messaging service. Do not send anything through this platform that you wish to keep private. All content submitted is treated as research material. While usernames are stripped, you should assume messages may be read, processed, and redistributed in pseudonymous form.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We reserve the right to modify data retention and sharing practices with notice posted on this page.
Who can use your data — and who can't.
Progredeus provides a platform where users can send and receive messages, replies, and media in group and direct conversations. Access to user-generated content for any purpose other than ordinary, legitimate, and intended use of the Progredeus platform as its user is prohibited, except as expressly set out below.
As a limited exception, Progredeus permits access to data strictly required to launch and operate a legitimate third-party Progredeus client, integration, or compatible application, provided it operates in full compliance with these Terms. Any such access is licensed on a retractable, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable basis, solely to the extent strictly required to operate the relevant service.
Unless expressly authorized by Progredeus in writing, you may not:
- Scrape, index, harvest, crawl, mirror, or aggregate any content, metadata, user identifiers, message timestamps, or any other data from the platform by automated means
- Download, extract, or bulk-export message history, media, or user data outside of the ordinary use of the application interface
- Intercept, proxy, or capture platform traffic to collect content at scale
- Use any bot, script, browser automation, or API abuse to access content beyond what is required for your own legitimate use
Violations may result in immediate termination of access and, where applicable, legal action.
Prohibited (unauthorized third parties): Any person, company, or service that has not received express written authorization from Progredeus is strictly prohibited from scraping, indexing, harvesting, aggregating, or using data obtained from this platform to train, fine-tune, validate, benchmark, or otherwise engage in the development or deployment of artificial intelligence, machine learning models, or similar technologies.
Authorized (Progredeus & designated partners): Progredeus and its expressly designated AI research partners are explicitly authorized to collect, catalogue, process, and use platform content — including messages, replies, and media — for AI and machine learning research and model development. This authorization is grounded in the explicit, informed, and affirmative consent provided by each user upon account creation and continued use of the platform, as set out in the Terms & Conditions. Specifically: usernames are removed and replaced with non-reversible pseudonymous identifiers; no personally identifiable information is retained in the research dataset.
Users retain copyright in original content they submit. By submitting content to Progredeus, users grant Progredeus and its authorized AI research partners a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, process, adapt, and distribute that content in pseudonymised form for AI research purposes, consistent with these terms.
Research Disclosure
Progredeus is an open research project dedicated to advancing AI development. Conversations within this platform are not private — messages may be collected and disclosed publicly in anonymised form to support ongoing research. No personally identifiable information will ever be attributed. You acknowledge this when creating an identity.
